Focus on What Matters

Education
Drew believes our tax dollars deserve to follow our children. School choice is a TOP priority and will help ensure our children are getting the best education available to them while supporting parental rights.
The children of Minnesota deserve to have nothing but the best education system that helps prepare them for success. They deserve to have an education that is right for them, a one size fits all model does not work! Accountability is the key to a good education and in Minnesota we have a clear lack of both.
Kids in our public school system are being indoctrinated instead of being educated. This is disturbing and needs to end immediately. We need to focus on reading, writing and arithmetic, not teaching them about todays new preferred pronoun or twisted version of history.
Drew believes we should provide more support to home school and private families. Punishing families that choose to leave the public school system by enforcing harsh rules and regulations on them is cruel and needs to be addressed. Parents have the right to make the best choice for their kids education and as law makers we need to help them, not punish them.

Free and Fair Elections
Free and fair elections are a fundamental component of political freedom. The electronic tabulators and polling pads have too many vulnerabilities and the election rules/laws surrounding them don’t give voters the confidence needed to make them feel like our elections are safe and secure.
In addition to technology concerns is the issue of letting anyone who comes here, legally or illegally, vote. The right to vote is an American freedom which should be reserved for it’s legal citizens.
Not only do we have a system that allows for non-citizens to vote, but it allows for people to vote more than once or with a name that is not theirs.
The solution is SIMPLE:
-Voter ID
-Same Day voting—except for those serving our country and unable to vote in person or those who are truly homebound.
-Paper Ballots
-Accurate Voter Rolls
-Hand counting, no machines

Reduce Government Spending... DRAMATICALLY
In 2023, Minnesota increased its spending by roughly 40%. With increased inflation and rising prices for food and gas, Minnesotans across the state are struggling to pay bills and save money for their future.
With a budget surplus (theft of your hard earned money) of nearly 18 billion dollars in 2023, its time to lower taxes on Minnesotans and let them live the life they have earned.
We need Family-First Tax relief and de-regulation of our small businesses. Its time we allow Minnesotans to grow their savings accounts and small businesses instead of over taxing Minnesotans and continued wasteful spending.
Even though there was good work done in the 2025 session, we MUST go much further in our spending cuts. Minnesotans are being taxed to death! And what do we get for it? More fraud, more waste, more abuse... Drew will continue to fight for dramatic cuts to our bloated state bureaucracy!

Public Safety
Minnesota is facing violent crime rates higher than ever before, yet the democrats continue to attack police and drop the ball on public safety. Drew will defend our men and women in law enforcement and make sure they have the tools, resources and training they need to keep our communities safe.
More importantly, Drew will support legislation that keeps the people of Minnesota safe. With public safety also comes the right for individuals to be empowered to defend themselves. The United States currently has twenty nine states that recognize citizens God given right to have a Constitutional carry. Drew is a firm supporter of a constitutional carry and gun legislation like “Castle Doctrine” and “Stand Your Ground.” This kind of legislation supports an individuals right to protect themselves, their property, and most importantly, their loved ones.
Our country is in the midst of a border invasion. We need to make sure Minnesota is NEVER a sanctuary state. “Sanctuary” status helps shelter potential violent criminals and unknown terrorists. Drew will work diligently to prevent ANY type of sanctuary status in Minnesota.
