Free and fair elections are a fundamental component of political freedom. The electronic tabulators and polling pads have too many vulnerabilities and the election rules/laws surrounding them don’t give voters the confidence needed to make them feel like our elections are safe and secure.
In addition to technology concerns is the issue of letting anyone who comes here, legally or illegally, vote. The right to vote is an American freedom which should be reserved for it’s legal citizens.
Not only do we have a system that allows for non-citizens to vote, but it allows for people to vote more than once or with a name that is not theirs.
The solution is SIMPLE:
- Voter ID
- Same Day voting—except for those serving our country and unable to vote in person or those who are truly homebound.
- Paper Ballots
- Accurate Voter Rolls
- Hand counting, no machines
